Create a Badge

In UKG Pro Learning, you can create Badges based on the needs of your academy. Admins can create badges by default. They have also the option to decide if training managers should be able to create badges. They also have the option to give the "Create Badge" permission specific managerial jobs (such as unit managers). Once created, admins, training managers and users with managerial jobs will be able to award the badge to members (based on the academy settings).

Navigation: UKG Pro Learning > Admin (hover) > Academy Settings > Gamification Module

Set "Do you want to turn on the Gamification Module?" to Yes if it isn't already.
Expand the Academy Badges section.
Under Who can create and award corporate badges, check the box to allow employees to award badges.

Now the selected users can create badges for your academy.

Navigation: UKG Pro Learning > Admin > Gamification > Edit Badges

Select the Create Badge button.
Admins have an extra option available in order to make a badge awardable only by specific jobs. Use the Limit who can award this badge dropdown to give selected job permission to award the badge.
Fill in the information for your badge. Add a title, write a short description, upload an image and select a shape and/or icon for your badge. The image size for your badge should be 400x480.
Select the Save button to save your work.
