You can send custom announcements to your Academy members and select the recipients individually or in groups according to a specific organizational structure.
Navigation: Admin > Members > Send Announcements
Individual Announcements
- From the member list, select the plus symbol next to each member you want to include in the announcement.
Note: You can search for a specific member using the Search field, or filter the list by selecting a Type, Above Unit, Unit, Job, and an Additional Field from the drop-down lists.
- Optional. Check the High Priority box and enter the number of days you want the announcement to remain high priority.
- Optional. Check the Send copy to inbox box to send the message to the recipients via email and as a mobile push notification.
- In the Message field, enter a message to include in the announcement.
- Optional. Select Upload Attachment to include a file with the announcement.
- Select Announce.
Advanced Announcement
Advanced Announcements use filters to send the announcement only to those that match the selected organizational structure.
- From the Select Job drop-down list, check the box next to each job to which you want to assign the course and then select Close.
- From the Select Above Units and Select Units columns, check the desired boxes.
Note: You can filter the columns using the Filter by Type and Filter by Above Unit drop-down lists.
- Optional. Select Add More Announcement Rules to add additional Job, Above Unit, and Unit criteria.
Note: The Add More Announcement Rules setting enables you to combine assignment rules by using AND, OR, or NOT operators. For more information, see the Combine Assignment Rules topic.
- Optional. Check the High Priority box and enter the number of days you want the announcement to remain high priority.
- Optional. Check the Send copy to inbox box to send the message to the recipients via email and as a mobile push notification.
- In the Hiring Date fields, enter a date range.
Note: Only members with a Hire Date that falls within the date range provided are included in the announcement.
- From the Preferred Content Language drop-down list, select the preferred language.
- In the Message field, enter a message to include in the announcement.
- Optional. Select Upload Attachment to include a file with the announcement.
- Select Send Announcement Now to send the announcement.
